This article will provide instructions for searching for Trading Partner Users and Organizations.

The IAM Administration Console offers two methods of searching for Trading Partners: quick search and advanced search.

Quick Search

Quick search is intended to be a simple search for users by either name or user ID, or organizations by organization name. This is useful when the exact search terms are known and extensive filtering is not required.

1. Access the quick search by clicking the magnifying glass icon from the page header

2. Select the search type from the drop-down menu

3. Enter the search term in the search box, then press enter or click on the magnifying glass icon to commence searching

4. Search results will display. Search terms can be altered from this screen, or if needed, the filter icon can be clicked to refine the results further

Advanced Search

Advanced search is useful when searching for a Trading Partner by vendor code, or when it is desirable to filter search results before searching

1. Navigate to the hamburger menu, click on the Search menu item

2. Select the desired search type

Search by Vendor Code - Select the top-level package from the dropdown, then enter the vendor code in the keyword box

Search for Users - Select the desired search term type from the Search by box. Users can be searched by any combination of email, last name, user name, and role name. Use the middle drop-down to determine if your search is contains, begins with, or ends with (or, in the case of email, equal). Enter the search term in the Enter keyword box. Additional search terms can be added by clicking the + icon to add additional search terms. Search terms can be removed by clicking the trash can icon next to the keyword.

Search for Organizations - Select the desired search term type from the Search by box. Organizations can be searched by any combination of name and service package. Use the middle drop-down to determine if your search is contains, begins with, or ends with. Enter the search term in the Enter keyword box. Additional search terms can be added by clicking the + icon to add additional search terms. 

3. Click the Search button

4. Click the filter icon to further refine search results as desired
